About Agar Agar

Agar Agar is a complex hydrocolloid extracted from red seaweeds (Gracilaria spp and Gelidium spp) commonly used as gelling agent in food preparation.

Agar Agar does not require addition of other products or ions for gelation, and its strong gelling capacity allows agar gels to be formed from very dilute solutions. The gels formed are firm and strong, with short texture.
