On 24–25 September 2025, PT Hakiki Donarta successfully completed its annual audit for organic certification renewal, specifically for Gracilariopsis longissima Seaweed Powder type phytaFIBER®.
 

This year’s audit followed the new European Union Regulation (EU) 2018/848, which introduces updates in several key areas, including the requirement for full compliance with EU standards, replacing equivalence recognition for third-world countries such as Indonesia.

The two-day audit began on 24 September with a site visit to our organic seaweed cultivation pond for Gracilariopsis longissima. The visit allowed the auditor to assess our cultivation practices, ensuring they continue to meet organic standards from the source. On 25 September, the audit continued at our processing facility, covering both production operations and document verification.

We extend our gratitude to new Certificatory Body A CERT® - European Organization for Certification, for their guidance and support during the transition to the new regulatory framework. Their assistance was crucial in helping us adapt and renew our Organic Certificate, now valid until April 12, 2027. 

Thanks to their support we have successfully overcome the challenges posed by the new regulations for non-European countries, in this specific case Indonesia, a nation not included in the list of countries where the previous certification body can operate.

This achievement encourages us to continue upholding strong standards in sustainability, transparency, and product integrity.
