As a company that works closely with local communities, PT Hakiki Donarta believes that creating a positive impact is essential. Through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, the company seeks to contribute to the well-being and development of future generations. One area we have focused on is helping young people gain the knowledge and confidence they need to make better decisions about their future, especially in areas like education, health, and personal development. In response, PT Hakiki Donarta together with Rotary Club Surabaya West initiated a women empowerment program targeting female middle school students across Surabaya and surrounding areas, aiming to build awareness, life skills, and self-confidence from an early age.
Since 2023, PT Hakiki Donarta has consistently organized this women empowerment program, reaching approximately 10 schools each year across Surabaya and nearby cities.
Each event is designed to give students a broad learning experience. Participants are introduced to important topics such as women’s well-being, mental health, and the prevention of child marriage, which remains a significant issue in Indonesia, where 23% of marriages occur before the age of 18*. These sessions are delivered by experts, including representatives from non-government organization, medical professionals, and psychologists, providing students with both scientific understanding and real-life perspectives.
Beyond theoretical knowledge, the program also includes a baking workshop led by the Hakiki Donarta baker team. Through this hands-on activity, students can practice real skills, explore their creativity, and get a simple introduction to business opportunities.
The program is carried out in collaboration with Rotary Club of Surabaya West and Rotaract Club of Surabaya West, combining resources, networks, and a shared commitment to social impact. This partnership strengthens the program’s reach and helps ensure its continuity over time.
